SUMMARY OF THE JOB :
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Analyst to support and enhance our Unified Document Management System. This role is critical in ensuring the system meets business needs for document storage, retrieval, collaboration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT, business units, and vendors to maintain system integrity, optimize workflows, and deliver a seamless user experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Administer and support the Unified Document Management System, including configuration, user access, and security settings.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement document management solutions that align with business processes.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and user guides.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the ECM tool(s).
Ensure compliance with data governance, retention policies, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in system testing, quality assurance, and change management activities.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within document workflows.
Acts as a liaison and collaborates between technology and the bank’s business lines to help achieve efficiency and Bank goals.
Provide secondary and backup support on our File Transfer Processing system
Minimum knowledge/skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional work experience
2+ years of experience in application support or analysis, preferably with document management systems.
Strong understanding of document lifecycle management, metadata, and access controls.
Experience in File Transfer Processing systems is a plus
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with workflow automation and integration tools is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong sense of project ownership and team building skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work and focus on multiple large projects at one time
