Key Responsibilities
Creatively Design Encounters with God Serve as the primary worship leader for approximately 75% of Sundays each year at the Noblesville campus. Provide an environment for people to engage in worship and the Word by leading worship team development in all areas (song selection, chart preparation, rehearsal, run-through, and service execution). Shepherd the congregation through relationship, care, and pastoral support. Lead Creative Team meetings to design series and encounters that bring to life the central themes of sermon series and individual sermons. Schedule, plan, and execute at least one Night of Worship per calendar year (more if desired). Partner with the Tech Director and team to prepare for Sunday morning services. Develop a Team of Worship Leaders Provide leadership for service execution through Weekend Experience meetings, rehearsals, run-throughs, and services, using Planning Center as the primary tool for communication. Disciple worship team members in their faith and help them develop their God-given musical gifts. Build and grow the worship team by identifying, recruiting, and assimilating gifted musicians. Create moments throughout the year to celebrate, thank, encourage, and foster unity among worship team members. Support Noblesville Ministries in Worship Encounters Provide worship support for ministry events throughout the year as needed (e.g., all-staff gatherings, small group celebrations, Good Friday experience, ordinations, etc.). Lead and equip a team to provide worship for VBS. Support worship encounters in preschool, elementary, and student ministries. Pastoral Care and Leadership Complete hospital and shut-in visits as scheduled and maintain updated notes in CCB. Make necessary schedule and technical adjustments to fulfill all Pastor on Call responsibilities during assigned weeks. Participate in team meetings (All Staff, Noblesville, Weekend Experience, and Creative Team). Be available to mentor worship leaders at the North and Hispanic congregations, as requested.
