Job Overview Anesthesiologist (Locum):
Compensation: $218 $230/hour
Location: Ocala, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

You ll support cases in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endoscopy, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma, with no OB or Pediatrics. CRNAs handle regional blocks, spinals, and line placements. The ideal candidate is board-certified with at least two years of hospital-based anesthesia experience and proficiency in EMR systems such as iProcedures.

Responsibilities as the Anesthesiologist (Locum):
- Surgical Anesthesia Coverage: Deliver anesthesia care across a range of specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, GYN, and Trauma.
- CRNA Supervision: Collaborate with CRNAs performing regional blocks, spinals, and line placements.
- Patient Monitoring & Safety: Oversee anesthesia administration and monitor vitals to ensure patient safety.
- Pre- and Post-Op Care: Conduct assessments, develop anesthesia plans, and support recovery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records using EMR systems.
- Licensure: Active Florida medical license is required.
- Certification: Must hold Board Certification in Anesthesiology, with active ACLS and BLS certifications required for clinical practice.
- Experience: 2+ years of clinical anesthesia experience in hospital or surgical settings.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with iProcedures or similar electronic anesthesia record systems preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, ability to work independently and collaboratively, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered mindset.
