At Heartland, we are passionate about delivering innovative Payroll/HCM solutions to help businesses operate, increase sales, engage guests, and improve daily operations. We seek a Territory Sales Manager to bring our solutions to merchants across the area. As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll drive revenue growth, bring in new business, and lead a team of sales professionals. You'll work closely with your local Division Manager to set appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland solutions to target markets like restaurants, retail, medical, manufacturing, lodging, auto repair, salons, and more. During training, your Division Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our sales process and CRM platform, Atlas. You'll also coach and support your sales team to achieve their goals. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, primarily work from home, and benefit from residuals on your business. This role involves recruiting, hiring, and developing your sales team, emphasizing our belief that people are our greatest asset. Compensation is performance-based, with weekly commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver enthusiastic and effective sales presentations Use Atlas CRM on your tablet to demonstrate our solutions Educate business owners and referral partners about Payroll/HCM Maintain communication with your Division Manager Train and coach your sales reps Support your team in the field Scout for talent and conduct interviews Other Responsibilities: Network locally to find sales reps Exhibit strong prospecting, communication, and networking skills Work independently and collaboratively Be a performance-driven hunter Maintain professionalism and integrity Possess high sales urgency and innate talent Enjoy cold-calling and face-to-face interactions Have a proven track record in sales and pipeline development Possibly be part of business or merchant associations Bilingual skills are a plus This is a remote field sales leadership role; you can sell from anywhere with your iPad and Atlas. Minimum Qualifications: 18 years or older Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly Background check and drug screening as per law Reside near the job location Ability to spend at least 75% of time in the field Compensation & Benefits: W2 employment with health benefits including medical, dental, life, and disability Commission-only pay structure with potential first-year earnings of $90,000 - $105,000+ based on performance Recognition programs and a comprehensive benefits package detailed at our Benefits page Senior Level:
