Arrow Service Team continues to grow in the Dickinson ND area and we're looking for Carpenters to join our Restoration Reconstruction Team!

What makes our industry unique is that our line of work entails restoring a property to its pre-state/pre loss condition or better. If you are a seasoned veteran, you won't get bored with the many different projects we handle on a daily basis. This position is similar to a "Finish Carpenter" and we are looking for individuals with experience and prior success.
Arrow provides and assigns company vehicles (typically a box truck) with power tools necessary to complete carpentry jobs. Individual hand tools are employee provided. Leads are typically assigned vehicles.
Training is fully paid and on-the-job with our experienced team. We have a team of skilled Carpenters ready to share their diverse knowledge and talents. Expected core training is 2 to 3 weeks but depends on overall progress. Training will take place in Bismarck in the early phases and will gravitate to Dickinson. Hotel room will be paid by Arrow and a per diem will be provided.
In this role, you'll be learning something new every day. Training and skill development is always ongoing. Over the course of time, you will become well versed in several key areas of carpentry making you even more valuable.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Interpreting job specific workorders and blueprints created by various Project Managers.
- Cutting and Installing trim moldings, including baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and door and window casing.
- Installing and setting/fitting interior and exterior doors, ensuring proper fit and swing.
- Fitting and installing windows.
- Installing and setting/fitting pre-fabricated or repaired cabinets, ensuring they are level and flush.
- Cutting and shaping and installing pre-fabricated counter tops.
- General drywall hanging cutting and repair, insulation work, and installation of wall paneling.
- Accurately measuring to avoid cut waste and to ensure a smooth fit and finished product.
- Completion of punch list items for finalization.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Sub-flooring.
- Framing.
- Exterior work.
- Hard flooring.
- Assisting other reconstruction specialists such as Demolition and/or Mitigation Technicians when/if needed.
- Carpentry experience (2 plus years preferred, but willing to train the right person).
- Individual must be familiar with aspects of the carpentry profession, including proficient use of power tools and strong knowledge of building materials.
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner with or without supervision.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to unexpected challenges or changes.
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and overall craftsmanshift.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team setting.
- Ability to be professional, act with integrity, and have the ability to show empathy.
- Lift (constantly) 5-15 lbs., lift (frequently) 15-40 lbs.
- May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull.
- Occasional climbing (ladders, scaffolding, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling.
- Ability to work in confined spaces (occasional).
- Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild to moderate cold/heat.
- Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.
- Starting at $22 - $28/hr., but largely depends on experience, diversity of skillsets, and ability. (DOE)
- 90-day review (potential for wage adjustment).
- Annual reviews scheduled thereafter within department review cycle (potential for wage adjustment if applicable).

- Fully paid training
- 40 to 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm. Occasional 6:30am starts to accommodate travel distance.
- Occasional over-nights with hotel room paid and per diem provided.
- Rotating on-call schedule for afterhours (after 5pm) emergencies, which includes weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License (required).
- Reliable transportation for getting to and from the office/shop.
