As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Wesco, you'll take on a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge solutions for a broad spectrum of clients. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities:
- Lead technical efforts on complex projects including new product design, upgrades, and retrofits.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, automation, and electronic engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Serve as a technical bridge between clients and suppliers, driving solution adoption through education, specification, and application development.
- Act as a subject matter expert on client and industry technologies, offering strategic insights and direction.
- Train and support Wesco sales teams with in-depth product and application knowledge.
- Deliver post-sales support, ensuring smooth integration and performance of implemented solutions.
- Identify and promote Wesco's value-added solutions, working alongside sales and specialized support teams.
- Bachelors Degree - Engineering, Technology, Automation, Robotics or related field or equivalent education or work experience required
- Master Degree - Engineering or related technology field preferred
- 5 years required, 7 years preferred, of Electrical, Automation, Mechanical or Electronic design, application and/or technical sales experience
- Experience of leadership responsibility managing project teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
- Proven track record in project managements
- Excellent co-ordination skills with attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects as well as support tasks and enhancements including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact at all levels both internally and externally.
- Strong project management / time management skills
- Strong product knowledge and application knowledge
- PLC and HMI programming skills
- Panel design and layout
- Proficient in solid works or similar software
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Ability to travel 25% - 50%
