Target Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 base + commission, plus equity and benefits

From Doug DeMuro's iconic YouTube channel to our fast-growing enthusiast auction platform, we have built one of the largest and most engaged automotive audiences in the world, reaching hundreds of millions of viewers and driving a central part of our business growth. Our content-first approach has fueled over 30,000 auctions and more than $660 million in enthusiast car sales.
To date, we have achieved this without a dedicated Head of Partnerships. As we continue to scale, we are committed to building partnerships that enhance our content, respect our audience, and deliver real value - without overloading viewers with ads. This is a high-impact, revenue-carrying position reporting directly to the CEO, where you will lead the creation of sponsorships that fit our brand and serve both our audience and our partners.
You will be the first dedicated leader for brand sponsorships across our content channels: @DougDeMuro, @CarsandBids, social media, and the #1 automotive podcast THIS Car Pod! You will also have opportunities in live events, content expansions, and brand collaborations. The role begins as a revenue-carrying individual contributor with the potential to build a full partnerships team over time.
What You'll Drive
  • Grow sponsorship revenue across our content platform: YouTube, podcasts, social, and live events.
  • Build and manage direct relationships with agencies and brands including our retained agency partner.
  • Develop sponsorship strategy, pricing, rate cards, and packaging.
  • Create and maintain sales materials including media kits and pitch decks.
  • Forecast and report on revenue, pipeline, and campaign results to the leadership team.
  • Partner with our content team to deliver successful on-target campaigns.
  • Ensure sponsorships enhance - rather than interrupt - the viewer experience, delivering genuine value to our audience.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of partnerships sales experience in a content-led company, ideally with podcast and YouTube monetization.
  • Existing relationships with relevant agency and brand contacts in automotive-adjacent or lifestyle categories.
  • Proven ability to sell multi-platform sponsorships and deliver revenue growth.
  • Experience building rate cards, setting pricing, and structuring long-term deals.
  • Strong market awareness and understanding of competitor positioning.
  • Comfort developing sales materials, forecasts, and strategy independently.
  • Passion for automotive culture and ability to thrive in a founder- and talent-led environment.
