This September, STARR Restaurants is reimagining one of New York’s most iconic Italian destinations: Babbo. We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to help shape this extraordinary new chapter.

At the helm is Chef Mark Ladner, a James Beard Award–winning chef who previously earned two Michelin stars and a four-star New York Times review as Executive Chef of Del Posto. With formative experience under culinary legends Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Todd English, Chef Ladner brings a rare level of craft and vision.

Alongside his reimagined culinary program is a wine and beverage offering of great depth, featuring a cellar filled with rare gems and benchmark Italian producers spanning the country from north to south.


This position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • A Base Salary Range of $75,000- $85,000
  • Quarterly Bonus Program up to 10%

Qualifications:

  • A combined 3 years of experience with at least 1 year as a Captain or Restaurant Manager in a fine dining restaurant
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities that have focused on training and developing staff through a "coach-player" philosophy
  • The ability to drive performance and success without compromising hospitality and service standards
  • Basic PC knowledge and comprehension (Word, Excel, scheduling software, OpenTable, Resy, Applicant Tracking /Onboarding systems)
