Job Description - Senior Social Media Manager (25010383) About MoneyGram We’re rebuilding one of the most trusted names in fintech—and doing it like a startup. MoneyGram has been a global leader in cross-border payments for decades, and now we’re entering an exciting new chapter: a full-scale re-founding led by Anthony Soohoo, backed by private equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners. With a globally recognized brand, infrastructure across 200+ countries, and millions of loyal customers, we have a strong foundation and immense scale. We are reimagining how far we can take it. Our goal is to rebuild our growth engine—faster, smarter, and more customer-obsessed. We aim for fewer layers, sharper strategy, disciplined execution, and a bias for action. We seek bold operators and builders ready to shape the future of a scaled business and leave their mark. About the role We are hiring a Senior Manager, Organic Social, to lead our global social presence across platforms—driving relevance, reach, and engagement with key audiences. You will own the day-to-day strategy and execution of our organic channels, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging formats. You will build and manage a data-driven, fast, creator-first social content engine deeply connected to culture. You will collaborate with Field Marketing, CRM, Creative, and Performance teams to amplify campaigns, support key markets, and turn social into a growth lever. If you’re passionate about creating scroll-stopping content, spotting trends early, and building scalable social systems, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do Own the global organic social strategy, focusing on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging channels. Develop, schedule, and publish fast, relevant, localized content aligned with brand and performance goals. Manage a high-volume content calendar for campaigns, product launches, cultural moments, and regional highlights. Collaborate with creators and UGC partners to produce authentic, community-driven content. Partner with Field Marketing, Performance Creative, and CRM to align social with broader campaigns and unlock cross-channel impact. Lead social listening and community engagement—monitor trends, respond to conversations, and amplify effective content. Track performance metrics and own reporting to inform creative, platform strategy, and audience development. Stay ahead of AI, trends, and algorithms—test new tools and formats early. What We’re Looking For 3-5 years of experience in organic social media or content strategy, ideally in a fast-growth B2C or community-focused business. Proven success in growing and managing accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. Experience working with creators, influencers, or UGC networks to scale content production. Strong instincts for performance, combined with a data-driven and creative approach. Excellent project management, data analysis, and communication skills—able to run a content calendar, brief creators, film customer testimonials, and understand impact drivers. Familiarity with tools like Sprout, Dash Hudson, or similar platforms. Passion for culture, trends, and customer behavior, especially in global, multilingual contexts. Based in the US or UK, with the ability to coordinate with global teams. The process We value a clear, fast, and meaningful hiring process. At MoneyGram, we celebrate diversity and inclusivity. We are committed to providing equal opportunity and prohibit discrimination or harassment of any kind based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other protected characteristic. This policy applies to all employment terms, including recruiting, hiring, promotion, termination, and training.
