Position Summary The Senior Manager, Product Engineer, Clinical Data Management, within the Global Drug Development Information Technology (GDDIT) Data & Analytics team, will focus on bridging technology and business needs in the Clinical Data Ecosystem (CDE). This role involves delivering technology strategies and solutions for clinical trial execution, data management, and review capabilities, such as EDC, Clinical Data Management & Reporting, and Metadata Management. The role requires evaluating business problems, improving operational efficiencies, and reducing cycle times through effective technology implementation. The Product Engineer will collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including business users, developers, project managers, and IT teams, to ensure successful delivery of valuable technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Deliver strategy, planning, and high-quality technology solutions for Clinical Data Management. Define product strategy, roadmaps, scope, implementation plans, features, value propositions, and success criteria. Collaborate with clinical data management stakeholders and technical teams, including architects, engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and analysts. Serve as a subject matter expert in Clinical Data Management solutions. Analyze business challenges and identify technological improvements. Stay updated with emerging technology trends in clinical data management and product implementation. Guide project resources supporting enhancements and operations. Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and latest technologies. Qualifications & Experience Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field preferred. 4-6 years of experience in clinical data management and data solutions, preferably in a cloud environment. Hands-on experience with AWS technologies (e.g., Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda) and other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP. Experience with data lifecycle management and AI/ML applications in data management. Knowledge of EDC systems (e.g., Rave) is a plus. Understanding of Clinical Data Management domain and Life Sciences research is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Product management experience is advantageous.
