Position: Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Are you a software engineer with a passion for cybersecurity and a clearance? Do you want to work with a team of industry veterans who share your values and vision? Do you want to make an impact on the world by solving complex and challenging problems?

Set of X is seeking a software engineer skilled in C/C++, Python, and Assembly language for operating system internals, network programming, and reverse engineering. You will work on projects involving virtualization, kernel modules, network devices, and test frameworks. There is also an opportunity to lead a team and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience developing in C/C++, Python, and Assembly
  • Experience with operating system internals (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, Embedded)
  • Experience with network programming
  • Experience with debuggers (WinDBG, gdb, lldb, adb, OllyDbg)
  • Experience with test frameworks (GoogleTest, CMock, Catch2, pytest)
  • Ability to work well in a team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Modern C++ (C++17 and later)
  • Experience with virtualization tools (VMWare, HyperV)
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDAPro, Binary Ninja, Radare2)
  • Experience with version control (Git, SVN)
  • Agile development experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience writing kernel modules/drivers
  • Experience with network devices
  • Experience with build systems (CMake, make, ninja, etc.)
  • Knowledge of code quality tools (Valgrind, clang-tidy, pylint, black)
  • Experience with automation tools (Docker, Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, Atlassian)

Security Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
