Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/02/2025 Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab / IR Technologist – 10-Hour Days with Call Job ID: 55795584 Shift: 10-hour days – 07:00 AM to 5:30 PM Schedule: 4x10s/week, weekday and weekend call required Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Contract Length: ~13 weeks Care Setting: Acute – Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Department Overview: Labs: 1 Cath Lab, 1 IR Lab, plus admit and recovery areas Volume: 5–6 cases/day, majority are diagnostic or interventional caths Case Types: Right & left heart caths, PCI; no TAVRs or open-heart cases Call Requirements: Weekday: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM Weekend: One weekend/month (Friday PM–Monday AM) 30-minute response time Rarely called in Requirements: Licensure: Washington state Rad Tech license (must provide own radiation badge) Certifications: RCIS or ARRT (Cardiac Interventional) BLS (only if RN; not required for techs per posting) Experience: Minimum 2 years interventional cath lab Must be able to scrub and monitor EMR: Epic, GE MacLab Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to pre- and post-care for cath lab, GI, and IR patients Staffing & Orientation: Typical staffing: 4 techs per shift, 2 per lab Orientation: 3 days on unit with preceptor Epic training class required early in contract (may not be in first week) Work Environment: Small staff pool – schedule flexibility required Manager is contract staff at this time Team-oriented; must be able to move between Cath Lab & IR cases Scrubs provided Job ID 16857195 About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
