Job Summary
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of one of the organization's most complex and high-profile customer accounts. This position serves as the primary liaison with this key account, ensuring contractual compliance, program performance, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, this individual will lead internal teams, manage risks, track program execution, and champion the organization's relationship with the customer to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the key customer program across multiple departments.
  • Lead strategic planning, risk mitigation, and execution tracking for multiple large-scale projects.
  • Oversee program deliverables in line with contract terms, SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of contract requirements, billing structures, and compliance risks.
  • Manage program-level financial performance, including P&L reporting, invoicing, and forecasting.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the customer program and procurement stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration across project managers, engineers, buyers, and manufacturing teams.
  • Lead regular internal governance processes and executive-level program reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and post-project reviews.
  • Supervise a small cross-functional team (3-7 employees), guiding priorities and performance.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program/project management, including 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with material handling systems or similar technical programs strongly preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent credential required.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proven success managing large, complex programs and contracts.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills required.
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel for site visits and customer engagement.
