Position Summary
Morgan Corp. is seeking a skilled and driven Geostructural Project Manager & Estimator to lead the development and execution of our geostructural construction projects. This role blends hands-on project management with pre-construction estimating and design-build collaboration. Youll join a high-performing team focused on delivering innovative foundation and earth retention systems across the Southeast.
Our Geostructural Services Include:
- Design-Build Geostructural/Geotechnical Construction
- Foundation Piles (Driven Piles, Sheet Piles, Micropiles, Helical Piers)
- Horizontal Excavation Support (Soil Nail Walls, Soldier Pile Walls, Cofferdams, Shoring Systems)
- Vertical Structural Shoring (Structural Bracing, Emergency Support Systems)
- Grouting and Shotcrete (Shotcrete Walls, Rock Anchors, Tiebacks)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop geostructural solutions based on site-specific challenges and project needs
- Lead pre-bid planning, estimating, and proposal development
- Create and manage work plans, staffing schedules, and quality/safety plans
- Partner closely with field leadership to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget execution
- Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Oversee subcontractor coordination and material procurement
- Represent Morgan Corp. at preconstruction and project meetings with clients and partners
- Monitor project performance, generate progress reports, and ensure accurate billing
- Drive a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in geostructural, geotechnical, or heavy civil construction
- Strong estimating skills and experience developing proposals for design-build work
- Familiarity with foundation systems, shoring, grouting, and related specialty construction
- Working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and field practices
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam
- Ability to travel to project sites across the Southeastern U.S.
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments, including active job sites
