$63,000.00/yr - $66,000.00/yr About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Program Specialist to join our Training and Technical Assistance Team for FIRST Steps Together, a peer-led program supporting families with children 5 or younger affected by substance use. The role involves providing clinical support, training, and collaboration with staff across multiple sites to promote recovery and parent-child relationships. Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical support to FIRST Steps Together sites, including attending meetings, needs assessments, site visits, and technical assistance. Collaborate with the T/TA team on training development and resource creation. Facilitate online and in-person trainings and learning communities. Develop written resources such as newsletters, articles, and tip sheets. Support and build relationships with staff and partners. Participate in team meetings and other organizational activities. Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or related field; licensure preferred. Strong communication and facilitation skills, especially in online settings. Experience with home visiting, parental support, substance use disorders, or related fields. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new technology. Access to a car, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within Massachusetts. Preferred
Experience with reflective supervision, recovery coaching, or working with DCF. Lived experience as a parent in recovery for at least 5 years. Experience in developing and delivering training. Benefits
