This role requires a technical expert, capable of aligning with key programs, educating and upskilling partners on Snowflake's product features, and engaging with technical and executive audiences through whiteboarding, presentations, and demos to build Snowflake's mindshare among partners. The role also involves collaboration with strategic cloud partners investing in developing cloud-native SaaS offerings on Snowflake and working closely with data-native app providers. Given its strategic nature, the ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise and a proven track record of working with large partners to create technical champions and deliver impactful results. In this role, you will: Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to enable Partners in Snowflake technologies. Assist Solution Providers/Practice Leads with technical strategies to enable selling on Snowflake. Update Partners on Snowflake's product updates and roadmaps, helping them represent Snowflake effectively. Lead technical enablement programs, best practices, and solution design workshops. Think strategically—quickly grasp new concepts, share customer success stories, and demonstrate the impact of Snowflake. Understand how Partners generate revenue and identify where Snowflake products can have the most impact. Engage with other technologists and present at the C-level. Contribute to creating reference architectures, blueprints, and best practices based on field experience. Develop solutions using Python, Snowpark, Docker, and other open-source tools, including building Gen AI applications and deploying ML models in Snowflake. Our ideal Principal Data Cloud Architect will: Possess technical, product, and architectural expertise on Snowflake's latest capabilities. Have strong experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL, and data warehouses such as Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery. Stay current with Snowflake's updates and best practices. Have 10+ years of relevant experience, with deep knowledge in Data Engineering, Spark, Big Data, and cloud technologies. Be proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, and CI/CD practices, including DataOps and MLOps. Be familiar with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, and distributed computing. Have experience with Big Data and cloud integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Lambda. Possess industry-specific knowledge (a plus) and understanding of ML development and deployment, especially Generative AI.
