We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and deployment processes for cloud-based applications. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, AWS infrastructure automation, and cloud security, with a passion for optimizing performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, SAM templates, CDK, and Terraform. Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications in AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the software development lifecycle. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security. Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues. Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices. Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve DevOps processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role. Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD for automating build, test, and deployment processes. Extensive knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, IoT, Lambda, and IAM. Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and SAM templates. Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud resource management. Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications. Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security best practices and tools. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
