Job description
We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join our team. This role involves creating and implementing security protocols and procedures to safeguard systems and data.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor security measures for computer systems, networks, and information.
- Identify and define system security requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
- Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous network security monitoring.
- Respond to security breaches.
- Stay current on IT security trends and news.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT or related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, IT, network security, attack frameworks, disaster recovery processes.
- Familiarity with email security solutions (e.g., Mimecast), Zero Trust models, vulnerability scanning, firewalls, and related solutions is preferred.
