About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Neuromodulation Software Development team. You will collaborate on various projects, work closely with the Tools and Framework team for test automation, and partner with product development, technical leads, and project management. Your role involves software requirements analysis, verification, test documentation, automation, and mentoring junior engineers. Your Responsibilities: Manage the test automation team, providing guidance and mentorship. Lead automation testing projects from start to finish. Design and implement test automation strategies and frameworks. Create automated tests using Python and Pytest for applications and APIs. Identify opportunities for process improvements in test automation. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation. Review design documents, technical requirements, and Jira stories to create and maintain test plans. Use test case management tools like JIRA and Zephyr to create test suites and detailed test steps. Interact with mobile devices via Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, and mobile applications. Collaborate with development and project teams to support key deliverables and resolve issues. Reproduce issues during testing and post-release verification. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. At least 4 years of experience with Python test frameworks. Experience leading automation testing for large-scale customer-facing products. Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of wireless testing technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Experience testing applications on desktop, tablet, mobile, and web. Understanding of software development and testing in regulated environments. Ability to define and maintain APIs used across multiple teams and projects.
