Retail Engineering Apple Online Store (AOS) Quality team is seeking a motivated engineer to join us. Success in this role requires strong programming skills, thorough testing abilities, and the capability to develop test automation tools to enhance team efficiency. We desire a highly technical engineer who can research and apply the latest testing technologies, independently and collaboratively resolve issues, and promote best testing practices. You will deeply engage with engineering teams throughout all development phases. Minimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Experience in QA Automation & Testing for Web applications, with a proven record of bug detection and reporting Hands-on experience testing API/Web Services and Web applications using Core Java, Karate, RestAssured, Playwright/Selenium, and Appium/XCUI Understanding of software build tools, CI/CD, deployment, and code quality tools Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications, with consistent bug detection and reporting Experience supporting eCommerce, Retail, or Payment systems Familiarity with Agile, D2P processes, and project management principles Experience testing AI/ML applications, security, and accessibility features is advantageous Proven ability to develop testing frameworks from scratch following industry best practices Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and information gathering Ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve problems analytically Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, and caching strategies Experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, and maintaining test environments and data-driven test suites Skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Excellent at simplifying and explaining complex technical issues Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base pay ranging from $143,100 to $214,500, depending on skills, experience, and location.
