Description In this role, you'll design and build scalable solutions that enable advertisers to optimize their campaign goals and performance on Apple Ads. You will have the opportunity to develop next-generation solutions for budget and bid optimization, driving optimal campaign performance and enhancing the advertiser experience. Collaborating with cross-functional business partners, you'll set strategies and implement end-to-end solutions that scale as we grow. This role offers the chance to apply advanced techniques in a fast-growing business that benefits publishers, developers, and Apple users globally. Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience in building machine learning and quantitative optimization capabilities across various product areas at scale Experience in machine learning, quantitative methods, control systems, or reinforcement learning Proficiency in translating research concepts into production-quality code Experience in defining clear, testable research hypotheses with business impact Deep understanding of experimental design and online experimentation at scale Ability to communicate R&D objectives and results effectively to cross-functional teams, including executive leadership and product management Experience with research contributions to top conferences and publications Fluency in Java or Python Experience with distributed frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Machine Learning, Statistics, Control Theory, Forecasting, Optimization, Reinforcement Learning, or related fields, with experience in building production systems Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in building machine learning and optimization solutions across multiple product areas at scale MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Statistics, Control Theory, Forecasting, Optimization, Reinforcement Learning, or related fields, with experience in production systems At Apple, compensation includes base pay within a range, with opportunities for growth based on skills and experience. The pay range for this role is $143,100 to $264,200, depending on individual qualifications and location.
