Data Quality Analyst

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Our client is looking for a Senior Data Quality Analyst who is passionate about building confidence in data through smart, scalable testing solutions. This role goes beyond traditional QA—you’ll design and automate systems that safeguard the accuracy and integrity of critical data pipelines and compliance reports. You'll play a key role in ensuring the business can trust the data that powers decision-making, regulatory reporting, and strategic insights. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute test strategies to validate data quality, completeness, and accuracy of ETL processes and reporting outputs Develop automated data quality and validation tests using Python and SQL Monitor data feeds and compliance reports to proactively detect and resolve data quality issues Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to understand data flows and identify areas for quality improvement Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and track defects to resolution Document test plans, test cases, and test results in alignment with best practices Work in a Linux environment to access and validate data pipelines, logs, and processes Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in enterprise data warehouse or data engineering environments Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and test automation Hands-on experience with Python to build automated testing scripts and frameworks Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data governance, and compliance reporting Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with data quality frameworks or tools (e.g., Great Expectations, dbt tests, Informatica DQ) Experience in regulated industries with strict data compliance standards Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Prestige Staffing by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified when a new job is posted.
