The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing the agency's web pages, programs, and applications. They will collaborate with design, data, and technology teams to improve existing applications and develop new systems and services. Responsibilities include managing junior and consultant resources, reviewing requirements, estimating work efforts, and translating business needs into technological solutions. Authorization to work in the United States is required. NYC Department of Design and Construction does not sponsor visas. Applicants must meet all requirements at the time of application. Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or related field, plus six years of relevant full-time experience, or A bachelor's degree plus ten years of relevant full-time experience, or Equivalent education and/or experience. Preferred Skills: Candidates should have strong supervisory and development skills, with at least five years of experience with .NET technologies (C#, .NET Framework, Core, Web APIs, LINQ, MVC, Windows Services, Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps), HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, React, Angular), Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps, and ETL development. Certifications like MCSD, MCP, MCITP, MCA, or MCSE are preferred. Additional benefits include potential eligibility for federal loan forgiveness programs. Residency in New York City is not required.
