Position Overview As a Platform QA Engineer at TruU, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly security products. You will play a critical role in validating our identity endpoint platform across multiple operating systems and infrastructure environments. You will contribute both strategically and technically by designing test plans, automating test cases, analyzing defects, and working closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure the best-in-class user experience. We’re looking for a QA engineer mainly– Go-getters who ramp up quickly with on-the-job training and operate effectively in a fast-paced TruU environment. Demonstrate a proactive mindset in identifying bugs, especially critical edge cases seen in customer environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain robust test strategies for Truu's security platform across Windows, macOS, mobile endpoints, and cloud services. Collaborate with development, designers, and product teams to ensure completeness, scalability, and system integrity. Own and execute test cycles for Truu's cloud-managed authentication workflows, device enrollment, and different set of policy rules. Develop and execute both manual and automated test suites for regression, performance, and integration testing. Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release retrospectives as a QA stakeholder. Analyze logs, debug issues, and file comprehensive bug reports with reproducible steps and cross-functional traceability. Identify and document edge cases, race conditions, and platform-specific anomalies early in the development cycle. Drive test coverage and automation to improve release confidence and reduce time-to-market. Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly with cross-platform desktop or system-level applications. Hands-on testing experience on Windows and/or macOS, with exposure to web and mobile platforms. Background in identity, authentication, endpoint security, or AI/ML-based systems. Strong debugging, log analysis, and system-level troubleshooting skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team environment. Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Jira, Proxy), and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
