Job Description
As the HR Generalist, you'll be a department of one, and will develop, implement, and manage company policies and procedures. You'll also manage all functional areas within responsibility to include employee relations, benefits, training, and staffing and will make recommendations that encompass trends and new developments within the human resources function. This role works independently and makes decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and will report directly to the HR Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; administers and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manuals.
Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, conduct enrollment meetings and communicating benefit information to employees.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Assist with payroll and HR automated systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Bi-lingual in Spanish
A minimum of 1+ years of Human Resource experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Must be able to adjust schedule to accommodate all shifts
Microsoft Office experience
HRIS system experience
Preferred:
A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience
