A highly respected law firm in Charlotte is seeking aSecuritization / Structured Finance Associate to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have2+ years of experience working on complexsecuritization andstructured finance transactions , including experience withstructured products in corporate or real estate sectors. Experience inCLOs ,CMBS ,Repo transactions , and other forms ofasset-backed finance (ABL) is highly desirable, though not essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients onsecuritization andstructured finance transactions, including the creation and issuance ofstructured products in various asset classes such as corporate and real estate.
- Assist in the drafting, negotiation, and execution ofsecuritization agreements ,loan facilities , andasset-backed financing documents.
- Work with a variety ofstructured products , such asCLOs ,CMBS ,Repo transactions , and other forms ofABL finance .
- Provide legal counsel to clients on regulatory, compliance, and market risk issues related tosecuritization andstructured finance products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm and interact with clients, investors, and other stakeholders on complex financing arrangements.
- Support senior attorneys in managing high-profile transactions, providing strategic advice, and maintaining client relationships.
- Review and analyze complex financial documents and structures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Participate in due diligence and deal structuring, ensuring that client objectives are met while adhering to applicable legal standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience insecuritization andstructured finance , with strong exposure tostructured products , either incorporate finance orreal estate finance .
- Experience withCLOs ,CMBS ,Repo transactions , andABL finance is a plus but not required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- Exceptional academic credentials, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and multi-faceted transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior attorneys.
- Strong drafting skills, with an ability to produce high-quality legal documents in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
