Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager with tax review experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing excellent client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Conduct thorough tax reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Assist clients with tax planning and advisory services to optimize their financial strategies.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues, staying updated on changes in tax legislation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and accurate services to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their questions and provide guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with firm standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in tax preparation and tax review.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software (Thomson Reuters, UltraTaxCS, NetStaffCS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tax planning and advisory services.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop and Online
• Prior preparation and review experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment
