Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Financial Analyst with experience in analyzing cash flow, investment performance, cost, operational efficiency to join a manufacturer located in the greater Philadelphia area. This is a full-time position offering lucrative compensation, benefits, and career advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will report to the FP&A Director, providing analytical and problem-solving support on financial trends and performance, generating financial reports across various areas such as direct materials, labor, variance, accruals, P&L, revenue, accounting, and cash flow, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report to the FP&A Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, plan, and report on financial performance, including ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, reconciliation, budgeting, revenue, costs, expenditures, cash flow, and variances. Identify areas for improvement and resolve financial issues based on KPIs.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators such as revenue, investments, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures. Prepare planning processes related to pricing, volume, mix, variations, EBITDA, and generate cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies. Resolve compliance issues with regulatory agencies.
- Monitor performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances. Report current financial results and compare them against forecasts, budgets, and previous years to identify gaps.
- Oversee and develop budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans, and modeling tools.
- Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, provide ad-hoc analysis, and utilize Excel for data analysis and indexing.
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and provide timely financial recommendations to management.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities with the accounting team.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive corporate data.
- Assist senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis and prepare presentations for executive review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience as an FP&A or Financial Analyst, with strong data analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP/ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Creative thinking, high motivation, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work hands-on with team members in a collaborative environment.
