Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Baltimore, MD. Summary: Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records and transactions, reconciling ledger and subsidiary accounts, and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports. The role requires analyzing costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations to forecast finances, as well as supervising junior accountants when necessary. Additional duties involve documenting and improving business processes and accounting policies, preparing, and reviewing financial statements while explaining budget variances in expenses, and completing monthly reconciliations for all asset and liability accounts with prompt resolution of any discrepancies.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- 2+ years of experience
