Job Details
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will work closely with senior management to help guide and improve our financial performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including profit enhancement, cost reduction, budgeting, and financial planning
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make predictions on future trends
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial trends in order to assist the management team in making informed decisions
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Conduct detailed research of intended markets and trends to create financial models for decision support
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analysis role
- Proficiency in forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop financial models for cost saving and profit enhancement opportunities
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications
