COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for
Senior Acquisition Logisticians
in support of a USAF contract. Position openings may be available at Wright Patterson AFB, OH; Warner Robins, GA; Hill AFB, UT; and/or Tinker AFB, OK. This position will provide support to the program in areas such as: Assist with the planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave logistics support for assigned weapon systems or subsystems, integrating functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities required to sustain system fielding. Perform tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. Provide assistance to sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and materials. Assist in the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP), developing and executing phased strategies for PPTP and TPP. Apply knowledge of acquisition logistics philosophy, policies, and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post-award project/program management, and acquisition programs throughout their lifecycle. Assist in planning, organizing, and managing development, production, and deployment of capabilities using DoD, USAF, and local logistics policies, procedures, and financial data requirements. Coordinate all logistics elements including spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements are identified and tailored. Develop support requirements related to system and equipment design, readiness objectives, and design support, conducting analyses on total life cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty. Assist in evaluating support alternatives, performing trade-off analyses between support concepts, and between support, design, and operational concepts. Develop Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and/or Design-To-Cost (DTC) programs, perform operating and support cost analyses, and develop probable cost estimates. Identify personnel requirements with the skills and grades needed to operate and support weapon systems over their lifetime at peacetime and wartime rates. Perform TDM and analyses, write reports, recommend actions, and manage technical data libraries to support logistics activities. One of the following combinations of education/experience: MA/MS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective discipline, with five (5) years in the DoD -OR- BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience, with five (5) in the DoD -OR- HSD/GED, twenty (20) years of directly related experience, with eight (8) in the DoD. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance at the required level. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
