Collaborate with the educational team on the development, implementation and monitoring of behavior plans for students; Ensure plans are being implemented with fidelity Collect, maintain and analyze student behavioral data; Prepare student data reports; Lead and assist with the Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) process; Assist in the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) for students; Assist administration in the supervision of behavior managers and paraprofessionals Support buildings in the review of incident reports, restraint and seclusion reports and work with supervisors/principals to ensure compliance with documentation requirements Attend and report at Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as directed by immediate supervisor Assist with School Crisis Teams and Student Support Teams and provide support on a district level for responding to challenging student situations Train educational teams on behavior techniques, interventions, FBA and BIP development Provide district professional development as requested Support students and staff at Woodland School an alternative, therapeutic school and other students in other buildings as needed Assume such other functions as may be determined. Salary: $105,575.00 per year

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board 2. Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
REPORTS TO: Student Services/PPS Director and Special Education Supervisors
SUPERVISES: Behavior Managers
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavior support services to educational teams including support staff as they provide services to students with behavioral needs. These services are designed to assist students with varying degrees of behavioral needs to ensure students are accessing their least restrictive environment. The BCBA is responsible for the lead role in the Functional Behavioral Assessment process. Also, the BCBA will provide training to educational teams on behavior techniques and interventions.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month year; Non-bargaining. Salary.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Staff.
