Our client is a high-growth leading asset manager with over $35 billion in AUM, focused on private equity and private credit is seeking a BDC Fund Accountant to join the firm to assist with their direct lending business. The BDC Fund Accountant will be expected to play an active role in day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the review of the accounting close packages for the company’s BDCs, including liaising with front office professionals and conducting detailed valuation reviews and tie-outs of senior loans and any opportunistic credit investments Investor reporting/presentations for the BDCs Review and analyze all aspects of the closing packages, review the tie-out of the quarterly financial statements, financial highlights and MD&A, and work with the junior analyst to communicate changes Review taxes for the BDCs Handle the quarterly review and annual audits and handles SOX, including documentation for BDCs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required 4-6 years in public accounting or Asset management audit experience a plus CPA preferred Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
Salary Range
$100,000 – $125,000
