Principal Engineer/Scientist
who thrives at the cutting edge of discovery and innovation. In this role, you will spearhead high-level, technically advanced, and often research-driven programs critical to U.S. security priorities. You’ll be the architect of transformative solutions, integrating vast streams of data, theory, and emerging technology into powerful outcomes. As a senior thought leader, you will drive scientific and engineering initiatives, advise key decision-makers, and mentor the next generation of technical experts—all while operating in a highly dynamic and mission-critical environment. What You’ll Do: Lead sophisticated R&D efforts from concept through implementation on mission-priority programs. Design, develop, and integrate novel technical solutions across multidisciplinary domains. Serve as a trusted consultant on complex challenges, synthesizing high-level theoretical and practical knowledge. Author and present high-impact reports, technical briefings, white papers, and proposals to senior government stakeholders. Provide strategic direction and mentorship to project teams, ensuring technical excellence and operational relevance. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in research, engineering, or applied science roles. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and produce groundbreaking results. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of persuasive technical storytelling. Active TS/SCI clearance required. develop algorithms and recommend enhancements to existing algorithms. Ability to develop advanced HF Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) techniques to characterize targets; and develop algorithms that utilize Known Reference Points (KRPs) to improve geolocation accuracy.
