Senior Electrical Engineer in Cary, NC , working on innovative projects in industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for designing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with clients and contractors during construction. Key Responsibilities: Design and produce electrical system designs including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, and telecommunication systems. Coordinate with clients, owners, and contractors to support construction and ensure project success. Develop scopes of work, perform calculations, and review project deliverables for accuracy and compliance. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and PE license. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design for buildings. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), IEEE standards, UPS, EPMS, and generator sizing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu. Desired Skills: Experience with electrical design, Revit or BIM, and innovative problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
