Direct Salesperson

to join our sales team in

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Relationship Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking and referrals: build and maintain customer relationships, and drive sales growth in a designated territory with the objective of increasing market share for both new product sales and for service of installed equipment. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement short term and long range direct and target account plans with the objective being to identify, develop and maintain key customer relationships to expand market share and presence and to meet / exceed quota assignments in the territory. Identify and recommend specific sales activities and strategies which will enhance the strength and presence of the Guidant Measurement direct sales and service operation within the territory. Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, arrange, conduct and participate in customer training and other events as needed or requested to further develop the territory. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales that are within the perimeters of the policies and procedures. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and forecasts in the CRM system. Reporting may also include specific projects or opportunities as requested by manager. Other: Provide post-sale support and follow up on customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Coordinate appropriate technical interface between customers and all departments and management levels of the company. Support the Quality improvement process.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing Administration/Engineering and 3 years minimum sales experience or 5-7 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, or Engineering. Experience with Custody Transfer or Process Measurement . Experience with Metering Instrumentation, Automation Solutions and Application Knowledge in the Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Markets Measurement Solutions products/service skills that are

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation; strong understanding of the sales process within the Measurement Solutions or oil and gas industry Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Other: Must have a valid driver’s license and capable of extensive travel to meet customers and attend events and/or trainings .
