Superintendent

at Bowa Construction, you will provide leadership and oversight for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within our exciting portfolio of projects in Dallas, TX. You’ll be responsible for managing the on-site activities related to MEP installations, ensuring the work is performed according to the design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives, you’ll ensure that all MEP systems are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of Bowa Construction as we establish a strong presence in the Dallas market. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: MEP Systems Leadership:

Lead the installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Project Coordination:

Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Field management team to ensure smooth coordination of all MEP activities. Monitor the progress of MEP work and address any issues that arise on-site. Schedule & Budget Management:

Track project timelines, ensuring that MEP work is completed on schedule and within budget. Help manage the overall project budget by overseeing labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Client Relations:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on MEP-related matters. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve any issues or concerns quickly and professionally. Subcontractor Oversight:

Supervise MEP subcontractors, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and timely delivery of work. Manage subcontractor performance and resolve any performance-related issues. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:

Identify and solve technical issues related to MEP systems, working proactively to avoid project delays or budget overruns. Safety & Compliance:

Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all MEP work adheres to OSHA regulations, building codes, and Bowa’s safety standards. Quality Control:

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all MEP installations meet the highest quality standards, implementing corrective actions as needed. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE: Education:

BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field AA/AS with 8+ years of relevant experience, High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience:

At least 6 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on high-rise or complex commercial MEP systems. MEP Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, mechanical rooms, commissioning, and electrical trades. Subcontractor Management:

Experience managing MEP subcontractors and ensuring quality work and compliance with safety standards. Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and experience with project management software.
