Position Summary: The Senior Edge Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth through the development and implementation of solution-based sales strategies. This role involves engaging with clients to deliver customized retail edge solutions that address complex business needs, maintaining long-term relationships, and serving as a key strategic partner. Deep product knowledge, coupled with the ability to navigate high-level sales discussions, allows you to effectively position our offerings to meet client objectives and achieve sales excellence. Key Areas of Responsibility: Establish and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for Edge solution sales across the territory that aligns with overall corporate objectives and growth targets. Engage in high-level consultations to uncover client needs and propose value-driven solutions. Ensure alignment between client objectives and product capabilities. Lead client negotiations, including contract terms, pricing, and non-standard requirements, and leaning into deals to help close. Cultivate strategic relationships with clients, industry leaders, and internally, collaborating across departments to align product offerings with market demands. Stay ahead of industry trends, identify new business opportunities, and serve as an ambassador for the company in client and industry settings. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution sales or senior sales roles, preferably in retail with a focus on Edge Computing or adjacent technologies (virtualization, containers, cloud computing, etc.) Strong track record of achieving sales objectives and business development. Expert consultation and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel frequently in the defined region for both client and industry events. Proven ability to lead complex sales cycles, build relationships with C-level executives, and negotiate multi-million-dollar contracts. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools. Preferred Qualifications: Expertise in presenting and selling technical products to diverse audiences. Keen understanding of the containerization and virtualization market, preferably a deep understanding of Edge computing in retail settings. Demonstrable success in running sales campaigns into the retail market. Extensive experience in SaaS and selling complex technology solutions. Ability to influence and drive decisions in client engagements. Experience in managing large-scale client accounts. Strategic thinker with the ability to forecast market trends. Track record in leading innovative sales initiatives. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience:
