As an Electrical Commissioning Lead, you will spearhead the commissioning of complex electrical systems within a high-tech semiconductor facility. This leadership position requires deep technical expertise and coordination across stakeholders to deliver mission-critical infrastructure to full operational readiness, in line with ASHRAE, LEED, and client-specific standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement detailed electrical commissioning plans in compliance with ASHRAE, LEED, and client specifications. Review IFC drawings, construction documents, and sequences of operation to verify design intent and ensure complete test coverage. Oversee and validate field installation of electrical systems, ensuring code compliance and design accuracy. Lead and execute Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT), and issue Green Tag certifications. Manage Integrated Systems Testing (IST), including power quality analysis, sequence validation, and system interaction testing. Utilize CxAlloy and Procore to maintain accurate commissioning records, track deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions. Produce comprehensive commissioning documentation including test reports, non-conformance logs (NCLs), and turnover packages. Interface closely with MEP inspectors, construction teams, equipment vendors, and facilities staff to ensure project alignment. Deliver training to facility operations teams and support post-occupancy commissioning and LEED documentation. Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to your in your role.
Skills Required
Minimum 5 years of electrical commissioning experience in semiconductor or high-tech environments. OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification is required. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, Title 24, ASHRAE, and LEED Experience in commissioning tools and documentation platforms such as CxAlloy and Procore. Proven ability to lead commissioning activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and manage documentation
Education / Licenses / Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Controls Engineering or a related field (preferred). BCxA certification - Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), QCxP or BCxP certification highly regarded & preferred. OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification is required. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
