Responsibilities
Selects and underwrites complex Commercial Lines risks within delegated authority, applying appropriate pricing techniques according to company filings and regulations.
Monitors underwriting results, premium, and loss trends within the assigned book of business.
Develops and executes formal agency plans with all assigned agents in the territory.
Establishes and maintains effective producer and client relationships through visits and meetings, involving relevant business units.
Coordinates with internal departments, producers, insureds, and marketing teams to uphold high account management standards.
Enhances technical expertise in Commercial Lines underwriting and assists in training and developing department staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
5-7 years of casualty underwriting experience.
Existing producer relationships are preferred.
Strong negotiation and production skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
