- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of ten years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications. Familiarity with estimating software applications is a plus. - An energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys teamwork, collaboration, and professional development. Review data and blueprints to determine material and labor requirements; prepare itemized cost estimates. Compute cost factors and prepare estimates for planning, organizing, scheduling, bidding, change orders, vendor or subcontractor agreements, and cost analysis. Conduct studies to develop standard hours and related cost data or identify cost reduction opportunities. Consult with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss and resolve estimates and issues. Understand all divisions of work to develop Requests for Proposal from customer information. Provide conceptual estimates and project scope from limited customer data within 24 hours. Assess opportunities and make Go/No-Go recommendations based on limited information. Other duties as assigned. Physical Demands & Work Environment
