Responsibilities
Enjoy the freedom to create your own schedule, typically working Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Additional Duties
Assess patients' mental and physical status based on symptoms.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and evaluate treatment plans.
Consult with psychiatrists or other professionals on complex cases.
Develop and implement treatment plans.
Differentiate between physiological and psychological disorders and diagnose accurately.
Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, with knowledge of drug interactions and reactions, following privileging protocols.
Qualifications
MSN Nurse Practitioner
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with Post-Masters Psych Certification (PMHNP)
Active state license with DEA or in process
Experience in long-term care or short-term rehab is a plus
