Interventional Radiology Faculty Position
The Division of Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the
Medical College of Wisconsin
is seeking a board-certified/eligible radiologist, who has successfully completed an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship/residency program and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin. Team The Vascular & Interventional Radiology Division includes 11 fellowship-trained faculty and a team of Advanced Practice Providers. The Division covers the IR services at multiple sites within the health system; Froedert Hospital (main campus), Froedtert Hospital Menomonee Falls, Froedtert Hospital West Bend, the Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center and the FORME Aesthetic and Vein Center. We perform the full-scope of diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures except for cardiac and neuro-interventions. Our training program attracts some of the top talent of our field, offering all pathways for those trainees interested in IR (Integrated and Independent IR Residency programs, as well as the ESIR pathway). Our practice has many unique qualities, not the least of which is its relationship with the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, which allows for the collegial combined medical and procedural care of patients with vascular disease. Additionally, our division is also fully integrated with the other subspecialties within our institution, including Orthopedics, Urology and GI/Hepatology. We have developed a very active interventional oncology service providing primary patient-centered care in our Comprehensive Clinical Cancer Center. As well, we have strong vascular and musculoskeletal programs, performing the full spectrum of vascular and MSK procedures. The Division has a robust portfolio of clinical research trails that we participate in, representing all aspects of our clinical practice. We also have two dedicated faculty to basic science research and a dedicated IR Research Lab. The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Collaboration is the foundation for how we work within our division, our department and with others across the organization. MCW is committed to the development and academic pursuits of our faculty.
