F18 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor (Avionics) / Midshift - Naval Test Wing Paci

Principal Responsibilities
Plans, coordinates, administers, and regulates the operations of the maintenance departments per policy and instruction. Defines and assigns responsibilities, functions, and operations, ensuring full and effective employment and compliance of personnel.
Implements policies, practices, and revisions to meet company and contract requirements. Recognizes, communicates, and pursues changes in contract scope and workload.
Communicates directly with Government authorities and contractor management and personnel to define and execute requirements.
May include production reports, material consumption, quality control, and other production aspects.
Tasks may include writing production reports, maintaining files, compiling production sheets, preparing work schedules, inventory records, and requisitions.
May compute wages from employee timecards and post wage data for payroll.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Military VMET or JST must be included with application if prior military experience.
Extensive aircraft maintenance and material support experience, with at least 10 years in the field, including 8 years in direct aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, or modification.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with F/A-18 types and related maintenance requirements.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to qualify for and maintain a secret clearance.
Availability to work any shift.
U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is highly preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series.
Understanding of basic supply procedures.
Working knowledge of applicable aircraft.
Physical/Working Environment
Recent experience with F-18A-F or EA-18G aircraft preferred.
Work may be in hangar or outside.
Respond to operational circumstances, including extreme weather and basic infrastructure.
Exposure to noise, fumes, airborne particles, electrical hazards, and mechanical parts.
May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $110,000 - $115,000, based on qualifications and market data.
