Job Description U.S. CITIZENSHIP OR GREENCARD AND Ph.D REQUIRED You will collaborate with trait research scientists, breeders, bioinformaticians, and software engineers to develop digital solutions that enhance our biotech pipeline. Your role involves managing our biotech data model, creating data infrastructure, and supporting ML-driven decision-making across the pipeline. Duties include: Translating scientific requirements into technical strategies with cross-disciplinary teams. Owning and maintaining the biotech data model as the central source for biotech analytics. Developing AI/ML models to optimize trait development outcomes. Designing knowledge graphs to integrate biotech data for decision-making. Building decision models and data pipelines supporting real-time decisions. Automating workflows for trait development processes. Deploying solutions on AWS using SageMaker and Snowflake. Qualifications Required: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science (bioinformatics focus), Genomics, or Data Science (biology focus). At least 2 years of relevant experience. Expertise in knowledge graph construction and graph-based ML for biological research. Experience in data pipeline development for biological data and ML integration. Preferred: Background in plant genomics, trait development, or agricultural biotech, with understanding of gene editing. 5+ years of experience. Skills in database architecture and data modeling.
