Role Overview Greystone Real Estate Capital is seeking an Asset Manager reporting to the Director of Investment Management. The role involves monitoring the operations of an affordable housing portfolio, working closely with Fund Management to report on asset performance to investment partners. Remote candidates are considered.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee LIHTC properties through analysis and reporting.

Build relationships with general partners, management companies, and stakeholders.

Monitor construction progress, review draws, change orders, and inspection reports.

Analyze leasing activity, occupancy, and traffic reports.

Process equity requests, ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.

Review financial statements and occupancy reports; identify trends.

Risk rate partnerships, develop and implement action plans.

Approve annual budgets and assess financial performance.

Conduct site inspections and ensure insurance compliance.

Stay informed on LIHTC regulations and best practices.

Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulations.

Contribute to team efficiency and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field.

At least 5 years of LIHTC industry experience with a successful track record.

Deep knowledge of LIHTC, tax credit regulations, and affordable housing finance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

LIHTC Compliance Certification (current or planned).

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.

Willingness to travel for site inspections.

Work Environment The team supports remote work, maintaining high performance and strong relationships through regular virtual meetings and occasional off-site visits.
