Psychiatrist Located in New York, NY Salary: $250K- $275K; Psychiatric NP: $180K - $190K; Based on experience Qualifications: Board-certified Psychiatrist (MD) with a valid medical license in New York Must have experience in SUD Experience working in community mental health settings Knowledge of individual management guidelines for New York Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and colleagues Responsibilities: Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic alliance with individuals and their families Monitoring the patient's psychiatric status Providing age specific education regarding psychiatric disorders and their treatments Determining the need for medication and other specific treatments; developing treatment plans Increasing understanding of an adaptation to the psychosocial effects of identified disorders Initiating efforts to relieve the individual’s and family distress and improve family functioning Facilitating access to services and coordinating resource among mental health, general medical, and other service systems. Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Providesclinical supervision to teams as assigned.
