Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician
to join our
OB Hospitalist Team
located in
Grand Rapids, MI. Provide in-house coverage and total management for obstetric patients including labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies and postpartum care Collaborate with Obstetricians, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care On-site access to a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing the highest level of neonatal care for the most high risk newborns Rotating schedule - 24-hour shifts, average of 6-7 shifts per month (1,824 hours for a 1.0 FTE). Holidays are rotated Shifts include hours of direct patient care (rounding, entering orders, triaging maternal patients, attending deliveries, manager unassigned OB patients, covering emergency GYN patients and educating residents) 1 OB hospitalist on duty per shift; will work alongside experienced labor & delivery RNs, Unit Clerk, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Manager and Director, Neonatologists, NICU APPs, access to a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Opportunity to teach and supervise OB/GYN Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows Wonderful work environment with a supportive and innovative group that is very patient centered where mom & baby safety always comes first As a THMG employed provider, you can anticipate: Competitive salary Starting bonus Relocation assistance Full time benefit package Malpractice insurance w/tail CME funds, licensure and professional membership support 403b with employer contribution & match Qualifications: 3 years of OB/GYN experience required Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
