PracticeLink . Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led, multispecialty group practice with over 600 providers, seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to join our team based in Boise, Idaho. Opportunities and Responsibilities
Opportunities for subspecialty ID: hepatitis Rx, HIV, transplant ID, addiction medicine/OPAT, orthopedic and neurosurgical infections, with supportive subspecialty surgeons, teaching, stewardship, and infection prevention. The team consists of 4.0 FTE physicians, working approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient, with weekend call every 4 weeks. This full-time role involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient work at our Level II Trauma Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, along with inpatient work at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa. Telehealth services are provided to hospitals in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon. The schedule includes 3 weeks of rounding, call, and clinic, followed by 1 week off, promoting work-life balance. Our OPAT program serves rural and remote patients across the Northwest. The practice collaborates closely with hospitals for antimicrobial stewardship rounds and utilizes EPIC EHR. Living in Boise

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency Completion of an accredited Infectious Disease fellowship Board certified or eligible for certification within 3 years Idaho medical licensure or eligibility Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA Compensation and Benefits
