Are you a skilled and compassionate optometrist looking to make a difference in the lives of patients? ReFocus Eye Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Optometrists to join our team in Connecticut. We currently have opportunities in Branford, Waterbury, and Stamford (Greenwich Ophthalmology Associates) As a leader in the optometry industry, we are committed to providing exceptional eye care services to our community.
Daily Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases Prescribe and fit contact lenses Perform visual field testing and pre-testing procedures Provide postoperative care and patient recall services
Required Skills
Doctor of Optometry degree Experience in eye care and ocular disease management Proficiency in contact lens fitting and visual testing Knowledge of optometry equipment such as autorefractors and OCT Ability to perform refractions and diagnose conditions like diabetic retinopathy
Nice To Have Skills
Experience with vision therapy and low vision services Knowledge of ophthalmology procedures and cataract management Familiarity with LASIK and Optomap technology
